The Second Wife raises the dilemma of a couple facing a fertility test when Azrul (Zahiril Adzim) decides to engage in polygamy with Sarah (Azira Shafinaz) in order to have children, thus breaking up his marriage with Maya (Baizura Kahar). When Maya starts to smell the infidelity and tracks her husband's movements, one secret after another is revealed.
